Ivorian Douéà Noumandiez Desire has been appointed the center referee for the Ghanaââ¬â¢s game against Mali on Thursday.
The 42-year-old will be the man in the center and will be assisted by his compatriot Zakhele Thusi Siwelaà together withà Jean-Claude Birumushahuà from Burundi, while Algeriaââ¬â¢sà Mohamed Benouzaà will be the fourth official.
Desire, a pharmacist by profession comes in with a high pedigree haven officiated 29 official CAF matches since taking up refereeing in 2004.
He has dished out 125 yellow cards, 7 red cards â⬓ 3 of which were straight red.
The Ivorian is one of a few Africanââ¬â¢s on the 52-man shortlist to officiate at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
