Ghana goalkeeper Ernest Sowah says he is confident his time will come to be given opportunity to man post for the Black Stars soon.

Sowah, who is close to joining Ghana Premier league side Berekum Chelsea after a good spell in Congo has earned consistent call ups by Avram Grant.

He was a member of the Black Stars squad which finished second in Equatorial Guinea but was unable to step up from the bench.

The former Don Bosco man was again invited for the games against Togo and Mauritius but watched on as Fatau Dauda and Razak Braimah were given opportunity.

But despite the lack of opportunity Sowah says he is confident his time will come soon.

“I know that every position in the national team is highly competitive,” Sowah said

“But I am very confident that one day an opportunity will be afforded me to show what I have got.

“Football is that way the only important thing is that you have to be ready for the opportunity when it does arrive.”
