Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey wants to improve on his performance for Portland Timbers after his mistake led to his sides 1-0 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 27 year old Ghana goalkeeper signed for the MLS side last November after seven years in the Norwegian top flight.

He is expected to be the number goalkeeper for Timbers but was dropped for his sides 1-1 drawn game Tippeligaen following an unpardonable mistake which led to a 1-0 loss to Vancouver.

“When I come off the line like I do a lot of times you have to have a good chemistry with the defenders,” Kwarasey said

“Sometimes if the connections is not there it is very difficult.

“It can cause silly goals and I have to be on the watch out and adjust.”
