Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey produced several sparkling saves for Black Stars coach Avram Grant to see as he steered Portland Timbers to a 1-0 win over New York City on Sunday night.

The Ghana coach travelled to America to see his Kwarasey in action for the MLS side as he is seeking to convince the shot-stopper to return to action for his country.

The goalkeeper, who is angry over being dropped from the 2014 World Cup second game against Germany, did not disappoint the former Chelsea boss with his performance.

Kwarasey produced several stirring saves to help his side defeat New York City FC 1-0 at Yankee Stadium on Sunday night.

Defensively, Kwarasey made five saves on the night--two of them point blank stops near the 88th and 89th minute.

He picked up his third shutout of the 2015 campaign.

Portland Timbers came into this match sitting in last place in the Western Conference, and just squeezed out a win against New York City FC.

Kwarasey's performance will certainly attract some interest from Ghana coach Avram Grant who is seeking to boost his impressive side.
