Razak Brimah played his first competitive match for Mirandes on Sunday

Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah kept a clean sheet on his competitive debut for Mirandes on the opening day of the Spanish second tier.

The 27-year-old was in full time action in the barren home draw with Lugo on Sunday evening in the Segunda Division.

It was the first competitive game for Brimah agitated to join Mirandes this summer from Cordoba in search of regular first team action.

His efforts in guarding the Mirandes post from conceding were not complemented at the other end of the pitch as the side failed to score to ultimately settle for a barren draw.

The ex Nania shot-stopper is expected to be in post this weekend when Mirandes travel to face Racing Santander before joining up with the Ghana camp to prepare for the opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and Togo.
