Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah kept a clean sheet while helping Cordoba to another vital win in the Spanish third tier.

Goals from Fran Serrano and Damian handed the Caliphs a 2-0 win away to Lucena which pushes them further away from the relegation zone.

Brimah has started each and every single game for Cordoba since his arrival in January from bankrupt CD Guadalajara.

The 26-year-old has managed to help the side’s revival as they remain consistent with their improvement from their then precarious position in the league.

Jose Antonio Romero’s side were second from bottom at the time of Brimah’s arrival but have now climbed to 11th with just three games to end the season.

The ex Nania FC goalkeeper hopes to catch the eye of Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah with his consistent displays in order to be selected into the Black Stars squad for the 2014 World Cup.
