Ghana goalkeeper Razak Braimah has been promoted into the first team of Cordoba which means he will be playing in the Spanish top-flight in the coming season, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 27-year-old only joined the club in January where was made to work with the reserve side who were in danger of getting relegated from the Spanish third tier.
Braimahââ¬â¢s vital contribution helped theà Caliphsà escape relegation in group four of Spainââ¬â¢s third tier league.
He has now been rewarded for his good form exhibited while with the reserve side with a promotion into the first team who have secured promotion to La Liga.
This means the Ghana international who has already started pre-season with the side stands a chance of keeping the post for Cordoba against some of the best players in the world who play in the Spanish top flight.
The ex FC Nania shot-stopper must however first win a regular first team place under manager Albert Ferrer in order to display his immense talent.
Brimah did not make Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the 2014 World Cup having been named in a four-man stand-by list by coach Kwesi Appiah.
