Goalkeeper Stephen Adam cannot wait to fulfill his childhood dream of playing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

The Aduana Stars number one has profited from a stellar showing at this year’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) and named as one of three goalkeepers for the tournament.

The 24-year-old is the only home-based player in the provisional 26-man squad.

Speaking from the Black Stars camp in Arnhem, Adams told GHANASoccernet.com he cannot wait to realize his dream.

“It hasn’t been an easy ride so far but God is the maker of all things,” he told GHANASoccernet.com.

“I have always dreamt of playing amongst the best in the world, but I began to believe after the CHAN tournament.

“There is always that time that you get your break through and I think when it arrives you need no one to tell you that it has arrived.

“I am fully focused on helping the team when the time arrives.”
