Ghana keeper Fatau Dauda launches furious attack on Chippa United over failed promises
Fatau Duada has attcked Chippa United over their failed promises

Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has slammed the officials of Chippa United for spewing lies to get him to sign for the struggling club insisting all the promises they made to him were 'pure lies', resulting in him cancelling his deal with the South Africa side.

The Black Stars shot-stopper revealed that the Chilli Boys CEO Peter Katroulis broke his promise after failing to pay his signing on fee, as well as last month's salary.

He accused the club of break in trust after the Ghana international terminated his contract just two months after arriving.

The goalkeeper has claimed that Chilli Boys chief executive Peter Katroulis broke his promise after failing to pay the Black Stars shot stopper's signing on fee, as well as last month's salary.

“I signed for Chippa because I learnt a lot about the team, but all I heard and learnt were pure lies," Dauda told Football411.com.

"The CEO promised me a lot of things, including my signing-on fees and a fat monthly salary, but I realise that specific amount has not been credited to my account as early as last month.

“I found this insulting and unhealthy. I approached him and he said I should wait for a while and they will sort the issues for me. He broke his trust just when I got to know that they have failed to pay the signing-on fees and the monthly salary.

“I cannot work and not be paid what I am due, I gave my all when I was training with the team. It is sad when presidents take players for granted because. This is the main reason I terminated my contract with Chippa United."

Fatau added: “The good news for me now is that the Ghanaian window has not ended and they are yet to start their league.

“I will return this week to see if I will get a new club. I have spoken to my former club Ashanti Gold and they are willing to work with me again."
