Ghana League down to the wire

The winner of this season's Ghana Premier League will be known on the  final day of competition next week as AshantiGold and new entrants Aduana Stars won their matches on Wednesday to remain in the hunt.

Leaders AshantiGold came from a goal down to dismiss Wa All Stars 3-1 at the Len Clay Stadium and still hold onto their three-point lead.

Aduana Stars punished Liberty Professionals with a 0-1 away win at the Karl Reindorf Park.

The debutants can still pip AshGold to the title if they win their final match against Arsenals at Dormaa Ahenkro and AshGold lose at Chelsea of Bechem.

Hearts of Oak blew their chances after a 1-1 with King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium. The defending champions are now six points behind the leaders in third.

Arsenal shared the spoils with Chelsea, drawing one-all in the Berekum derby.

Asante Kotoko condemned Eleven Wise to relegation with a 3-1 win at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Real Tamale United avoided another scary relegation fight with a 2-1 win over New Edubiase United.

Great Olympics remained in the drop despite a 2-0 win over Kessben at the El-Wak Stadium.

Heart of Lions beat already relegated Hasaacas 4-2 at the Kpando Park.
