Legend Mohammed Polo says the current players of his former club Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko lack the requisite credentials and has branded them as a disgrace.

Polo says the players both clubs should feel ashamed for their disgraceful positions in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts lie 14th on the league table and Kotoko are in 11th place ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"It looks as if things have taken a very bad turn and the players are not pulling their weight. They are not fit and they always attribute their losses to others; that it was because of this or that," Polo told the Graphic Sports last Wednesday in a telephone interview.

"It's a disgraceful thing for a player of Hearts to find himself in such a situation or position with Hearts.

“I think it is a disgrace to you as a player because Hearts and Kotoko are not small teams that you have to carry them to that level."
