Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah worked with the full complement of his team for the first time on Wednesday.

The Black Stars are preparing to face Malawi in the first leg of the final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday.

All but one of the 24-players in camp fully took part in the evening's session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu sat out the session as the medical team continues to monitor his yet to be disclosed injury.

The squad was divided into two groups for an XI-aside trial match with the likes of Christian Atsu, Abdul Majeed Waris and Jordan Ayew getting on the scoresheet.

The team later worked on set pieces with striker Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Derek Boateng as the preferred takers of dead ball situations.

Ghana need to win massively against the Flames to ensure the second leg is a mere formality.

The training so far gives a clear indication of the team's readiness to rake in the goals on Saturday.

The match kicks off at 15:30 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
