Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah back to best form in Serie A

Published on: 07 January 2014
Afriyie Acquah has been in top form of late for Parma.

Ghana international Afriyie Acquah is gradually rediscovering his form at Parma with regular playing time in the Italian Serie A.

The versatile midfielder has been featured in the last season matches for Roberto Donadoni’s side.

On Monday, he saw full-time action in their 3-1 win over Torino as Parma improved to 8th on the league table.

Aside Kwadwo Asamoah, the 22-year-old is the most active Ghanaian player in the Serie A.

Acquah is on loan from TSG Hoffenheim where he had a terrible spell with the Bundesliga outfit.

Genoa are considering signing him on a permanent basis this summer.

I will never forget his debut goal for BS against Malawi at the Civo stadium. It was 2013 Africa cup of nation’s qualifier and the BS won that match one nil. Good to hear you are back to that form once again. Keep it up and don’t be over complacent till you make it to the WC team to Brazil.

GSN, please check your facts for this story. It's not accurate that aside K Asamoah, Afriyie Acquah is the most active Ghanaian player in Serie A. In fact, injuries and suspension aside Muntari is the most active in Serie A. Muntari chance of playing every week is assured that KA. I still think KA is way underrated in Juventus.

That's not true. Kwadwo Asamoah is the most active player in serie A. He hardly gets injured or suspended unlike Muntari who do not usually play full 90 minutes. He gets substituted much often.
