Ghana international midfielder Alfred Duncan stole the highlights in the Italian Trofeo TIM Cup with an amazing volley for Sassuolo in their final defeat against AC Milan on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old former Inter Milan star raced Sassuolo into the lead with a world-class finish after making useless of two AC Milan defenders inside the box.

Duncan raced himself into space to receive an Antonio Floro intercepted pass and he made useless of Milan defender Romagnoli by turning him inside-out in the box before firing a powerful low drive to beat the Milan goalkeeper who stood no chances of stopping the rocketed drive.

Milan went ahead to level the scoring through substitute Antonio Nocerino as the game headed for penalty shoot-outs.

Duncan once again showed his superior form on the night by brilliantly dispatching his kick but Sassuolo suffered a 4-3 loss after Berardi and Acerbi missed their kicks.

Duncan arrived at Sassuolo on a 6 million Euro sale from Inter Milan and he has enjoyed a great pre-season with the Green and Blacks.
