Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan has been involved in another biting incident but this time against his own Schalke team-mate Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
The German club suffered the bizarre training-ground injury scare to whizkid Papadopoulos, who had his hand hurt by team-mate Anthony Annan’s TEETH.
It forced the Greek defender, 19, out of training.
Schalke boss Ralf Rangnick said: “He had severe pain in the hand, so he cancelled the workout as a precaution.”
It is the latest misfortune to hit the Bundesliga outfit ahead of Tuesday’s semi-final first leg in Gelsenkirchen.
Last year Annan was accused of biting an opponent three times on the stomach during a Norwegian league game.
Annan, who was then a player of Rosenborg, scuffled with Aalesund striker Tor Hogne Aaroy, who later claimed that he had been bitten by the midfielder, saying: “He nibbled my chest.”
While the latest incident seems to be an accidental, the previous case in Norway put the Ghanaian player in bad light with several replays of the incident of television.

i think he did not meant to this to his own player bcos at training anything can happen
good work. we’re very much grateful for your contribution to Ghana football and Africa as a whole in that direction
Hahaha let your teeth do the job for you, when you can not use your hands. Keep it up
it might sound funny or stupid, but what is wrong with ‘defending’ yourself against more muscular opponents who otherwise thought the only way to win a fight was with hands and feet.
No TAE KON DO or KUNFU. This is TEETHAA
Anyway, I think the training ground stuff was just an accident, or perhaps even blown out of proportion by ‘journalists’ of the century.
secret racist always biting non-african. He should pay a damn fine for his misconduct against non-africans

Look at his size, he’s still a little boy. He’s only started teething and they tend to bite at everything at this stage, which may include human beins. He will grow up soon.. LOL
OH OH OH Pablo, please Ghanaians like the way you play, so please try and cover your mouth any time you are on the pitch. When they try to intimidate you show them that you are the AFRICAN LION.
