Ghanaian international midfielder Bennard Kumordzi is on the plane with KRC Genk to Antalya, Turkey for a six day training programme.

However youngster Marvin Ofori-Appiah could not make the cut to travel with the team as manager Mario Been has picked Ivorian Sekou Cisse to try out with the team.

The 28-year-old travelled from Ghana to Accra to rejoin his Genk team-mates in Belgium after a brief Christmas holiday period back home in Ghana.

After a poor run in the Pro League before the Christmas break, Genk manager Been wants to get his side battle-ready for the resumption of the Pro League and the Uefa Europa League campaign.
