Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is eager to make a huge impact in Spain after sealing his loan move to top-flight side Malaga.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian joined Spanish club Malaga on Monday night and will he will spend the remainder of the 2015/16 season.

Atsu only recently returned to Stamford Bridge following a failed temporary stint at Bournemouth and will be looking to bounce back with some strong performances in La Liga.

The former Vitesse Arnhem and Everton loanee was thrilled to be making the move to La Rosaleda as evidenced by his post on Twitter account.

Under Javi Gracia, Los Boquerones currently sit 12th in Spain's top flight, six points above the drop zone.

Atsu joined the west London club from Porto in the summer of 2013 for £3.5million and was immediately loaned out for the season to Vitesse Arnhem, where he scored five goals and supplied six assists in 30 matches.

Subsequent loan spells at Everton and Bournemouth have proved less successful and Atsu has decided to move to Spain to develop his career.
