Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes the Ghana team is beginning to peak once more again following the 3-2 win over Togo on Wednesday.

The troubled Black Stars team came from behind to register their first win of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series against the spirited Hawks in Lome.

Ghana had opened it's qualifying campaign with a disappointing 1-1 draw with Uganda and needed the win to get their campaign back on track and also to win back some of the love and affection from the irate Ghanaian fans.

Coach Kwesi Appiah's side displayed immense maturity and courage to come away with the win on a very difficult terrain.

Key players such Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, Jonathan Mensah and even debutant Baba Rahman led the side with inspired performances.

Agyemang-Badu who also got a vital goal in the game against Togo believes the Black Stars are on the rise again after a stuttering start against Uganda.

“We keep improving game after game and we keep going forward,” the Udinese man said.

“Whatever happened against Uganda is behind us and we keep looking forward.”
