Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie has saluted the Genoa fans for the extraordinary support in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Udinese on Sunday.

The Red-Blues showed tremendous team spirit in fighting from two goals down to tie the game in a thrilling game of football at the Stadio Communale Luigi Ferraris.

Cofie was an unused substitute for the Serie-A game as he watched compatriot Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu battle it out for the away side.

The Ghanaian youngster hailed the tremendous support received from the fans but was disappointed his side didn’t win the maximum points against Udinese.

“Great team spirit. We deserved more but that’s ok. Fans, sensational,” Cofie Tweeted.

Genoa will now be hoping to ride on the buzz created by the thrilling fight back to get vital results in the next run of games in the Italian top flight.
