Ghana midfielder Kumordzi expects Genk Europa triumph

Ghana midfielder Bennard Kumordzi is of high hopes Belgian side KRC Genk will shock Germans VfB Stuttgart in their Europa League tie on Thursday.

The 27-year-old dynamic midfielder is in the Genk squad that will be playing guest to a VfB Stuttgart who are looking to end many seasons of pain at this stage in Europe.

Kumordzi, who joined Genk from relegated French side FC Dijon at the start of the season, has gradually warmed himself into Mario Been's regulars and is primed to start in tonight's tie at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena.

The former Arsenal-pursuit is confident about his side's chances against the Germans.

"It will be a difficult game but I believe we have a good chance to succeed in Germany," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

He feels delighted about his debut appearance in the round of 32 of the competition.

"I can't wait its the first time I will be playing in the round of 32 so I am happy."
