KRC Genk midfielder Bennard Kumordzi is confident his side can continue their impressive first-leg in the Europa League against Stuttgart as they host them at the Cristal Arena on Thursday.

Kumordzi, who arrived at the Cristal Arena from Dijon before the start of the season, starred in Genk's first-leg 1-1 stalemate with the Germans at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena last week.

The Belgian Pro League side have been riding high in both domestic and European campaigns and they forced out a valuable away point against the Germans.

A win would catapult Genk to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, a feat that would be a milestone for the 27-year-old.

And, the former Panionios man says his side remains full of confidence ahead of the game on Thursday.

"Our aim is to win and move on to the next stage because we did a good job in Stuttgart and we are waiting to do the same tonight," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

He lasted 74 minutes in the first-leg for Mario Been's men.
