Michael Essien is desperate to prove himself at AC Milan and help the Rossoneri improve their results in Serie A.
The Ghana international landed at Milan in January from Chelsea, aiming to clock up regular playing time ahead of the World Cup and aid the club's push the move up the Serie A table.
Milan still though sit just eleven in the table and Essien, who has made four appearances for the club so far, is keen to make his mark, while believing that any improvement made will be the result of hard work.
"I think it's important to be able to fully demonstrate my value as a player and as a man", Essien told the club's Forza Milan magazine.
