Ghana and Celtic midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is looking forward to having an illustrious playing career at both club and national level after lifting his first trophy with the Scottish giants.

The 24 year old has featured only once for the Scottish league leaders since returning from an explosive AFCON competition where he pumped to help Ghana to a second place finish in the competition.

He failed to make the team for Celtic’s Scottish cup final win against Dundee but is still upbeat of winning future laurels at both club and national level.

“The AFCON was the third competition I had played for Ghana and it was really very good,” Wakaso said

“I was in the AFCON in 2013 and went to the world cup before this one but I am sure very soon I will win titles for both my nation and my club.”
