Ghana midfielder Rabiu earns a point for Evian in French Ligue 1

Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed scored his debut Ligue 1 goal for Evian Thonon Gaillard who fought back to draw 2-2 with Saint Etienne on Saturday.

The 22-year-old narrowed the deficit for his side two minutes into the second half after Max-Alain Gradel had scored twice to put the visitors in front.

Kevin Berigaud charged forward and flicked a pass onto the way of the running Rabiu whose lob was too good for the Saint Etienne goalkeeper to deal with.

Compatriot Jonathan Mensah who is nursing an injury, watched the game from the stands.

Evian are still languishing in the relegation zone.
