Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed is flattered to be linked with a move to Portuguese giants Benfica.

The 24-year-old has gained glowing reports for his outstanding performance for Russian side Krasnodar.

The Ghanaian international has been linked with a move to Benfica with the Portuguese outfit ready to splash €3 million for his services.

Benfica have long tracked Mohammed but he opted to join the Russian outfit after leaving French side Evian.

The former Liberty Professionals man has welcomed reports linking him with a move to the European outfit.

It’s a great opportunity for me because Benfica are a great club and very well known throughout Europe,” he said
