Officials of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been reported to the Ghana Football Association’s discipline chamber by broadcast sponsors Supersport for hindering their work during their side’s clash with New Edubiase.

The media including Supersport crew were barred from taking video footage of the arrival of the Porcupine Warriors before the game.

Supersport were also restricted from conducting their usual post-match interview with the head coach of Kotoko minutes after the game.

A source close to the Supersport crew explained that a Kotoko macho man by name Seidu barred the Supersport cameras from taking videos and photos when the Kotoko team arrived before the game.

The same person whacked Coach Micheal Osei away when he was called by the Supersport crew for the post-match interview.

“As if that was not enough, the macho man verbally assaulted a member of the Supersport crew, Michael Katahena as if he had an issue with him,” the source disclosed.

Supersport therefore wants the Porcupine Warriors to be punished for perpetrating such acts revealing that they acted in a similar manner when Kotoko hosted Medeama at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The FA’s Disciplinary Chamber will set a date for the Porcupine Warriors to appear before them and if found guilty, appropriate sanctions will be meted out.
