Ghana Premier League clubs receive US$ 12,500 cheque each from TV rights deal
SuperSports is the Television rights holders for the Ghana Premier League.

All sixteen Ghana Premier League clubs have received a cheque for US$ 12,500 (25,000 Ghana cedis) as part payment from the Television rights deal.

The Ghana Football Association met officials of the clubs on Tuesday and announced how the US$ 700,000 per season money would be disbursed.

SuperSport, the broadcast rights holders, have paid US$ 400,000 to the Ghana FA as the first instalment for the season.

The remainder of US$ 300,000 will be made before the end of the season.

Last month, SuperSport signed a three-year deal valued at US$ 2.1 million.
