Premier League clubs in Ghana will wear black armbands and observe a minute silence during this weekend’s matches as mark of respect for deceased legendary coach Jones Attuquayefio.

The celebrated ex-Hearts coach is expected to be buried on Friday following his passing on May 10.

The 70-year-old gained legendary status after guiding Hearts to clinch their first ever CAF Champions league crown in 2000 and led Benin to their maiden Cup of Nations tournament four years on.

Premier League clubs will observe a minute silence for the departed trainer and wear black armbands during this weekend’s round of matches.
