Inter Allies posted a 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars on Sunday and push them back into the relegation on the Ghana Premier League section.

Senegalese import Benogo Niare volleyed home a 25th minute sole strike to help Herbert Addo's side to record a crucial victory over the under-performing former champions.

The Fire Club are tucked in the drop zone with 37 points with King Faisal overtaking them with same points amassed but with superior head-to-head aggregate.

Aduana looked poised to go all out for victory against a side coached by the man who guided them to triumph on their debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight but a brilliant finish from Niare saw Aduana suffering defeat.

Aduana could still beat the drop if they manage to beat champions Asante Kotoko on Wednesday at the Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro.
