Bechem United posted a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in the Brong Ahafo regional derby in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

In-form striker Abednego Tetteh fired Bechem ahead midway through the first-half before Yaw Arnol intelligently added the second goal in 39 minutes.

Former Tema Youth and Ghana U23 attacker Bright Adjei headed home the consolation goal for Aduana in the 73rd minute.

Abednego Tetteh claimed the opener for the Hunters in 22 minutes after picking up an intelligent pass from captain Issah Adamu. Adamu artfully skewed a pass to Tetteh who came one-on-one with Aduana goalie Joseph Addo. He rounded him up and gleefully slotted into the empty net.

Yaw Arnol increased the tally for Bechem late in the first-half. This time it was Tetteh who turned provider after playing through Arnol. The enterprising forward applied a body swerve to get Addo committed and rooted to his spot as he finished to dampen the travelling Fire fans.

Aduana improved their game in the second-half after Cioaba Aristica's recess talks. The second-half talks told as Bright Adjei halved the deficit for the Fire Club.

Aduana coach Cioaba Aristica rushed on the referee after the final whistle but he was restrained by management members of the Dormaa-based side.
