Aduana Stars are second on the league table

Aduana Stars will be eyeing top spot when they host league holders AshantiGold SC on Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu park.

They managed to pick a point at Kumasi last Wednesday by holding Asante Kotoko to a scoreless stalemate.

The Fire boys occupy second place on the league ladder.

The 2010 league winners could see their title ambitions put in a tight corner if they fail to beat the Elephants on Sunday.

Nathaniel Asamoah is still out of action with an injury. He failed to recover for midweek's match. His last appearance for Aduana Stars was against Dreams FC.

Ashanti Gold SC are in top form prior to the crunchy fixture against title contenders Aduana Stars.

They swept aside Liberty Professionals last Wednesday by 2-0 to extend their unbeaten streak to nine.

Versatile defender Daniel Addo has completed a move away from the club to a Cypriot club last week.

He won't available for Sunday's big game.

Joseph Ato Bissah hasn't returned from his trip outside the country. He won't make the trip to Dormaa against Aduana Stars.
