Ghana Premier League Preview: Berekum Chelsea vs Bechem United- Hosts hold the aces in regional derby
Berekum Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea will be hoping to rely on their home invincibility this season to beat Bechem United in the regional derby on Wednesday at the Golden City Park.

The Blues seek to bounce back from their heaviest loss of the season in the last round of matches. They lost 5-2 to Ashanti Gold SC.

A win in the midweek will take them to the 4th position as their dreams of finishing within top four at the end of the season will be much alive.

The spotlight will be on star striker Stephen Sarfo following his display in the WAFU Cup of Nations 2017.

He was top scorer at the end of the tournament with four goals.

First choice goalkeeper John Moosie is expected back between the sticks for Wednesday's derby.

Bechem United with just three points away from the relegation zone will be hoping for at least a draw from their visit to Berekum in the regional derby.

The Hunters are lying 10th on the league table. A victory on Wednesday will move them to 6th and a lose will take them 14th position.

Right back Eric Owusu Gyamfi is coming back into the squad for the Brong Ahafo derby in midweek.

He was missing in their last league game where they lost 2-1 to Liberty Professionals.

Reliable defender Alfred Nelson remains sidelined with an injury.
