Ghana Premier League Preview: Berekum Chelsea vs WAFA SC- Blues determined to put brakes on leaders
Berekum Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea face a stern test as they aim at cutting shot their recent unsatisfactory run of five matches without a single win.

They will be at the Golden City park to tackle league leaders WAFA SC on Sunday.

The Blues succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak on Wednesday which took them two places down to 11th on the league table.

The series of poor results in one month is leaving the 2011 champions just two points away from relegation.

Anything short of win will carry them into the drop zone making under fire coach Randolph Armah's sack very near.

Centre half Wahab Ahadzi and midfielder Abdul Ganiyu Haruna are expected back in the match day squad for Sunday's game.

With a game in hand, WAFA SC will be hoping to keep their momentum at the summit of the log by picking at least a point from their journey to Berekum.

The league leaders beat Bechem United 2-0 at the Sogakope park last Wednesday which stretched their undefeated run to four fixtures.

The Academy lads are three points clear at the top of the league table.

Losing to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday will see them being levelled on points with Aduana Stars who are tipped to win at home on the weekend.

Danish trainer Klavs Rasmussen has every player available for selection on Sunday after left back Abdul Wahab Ibrahim returned from trials abroad.
