The Ghana Premier League will go on a one-week break after the first half of the fixtures, the Premier League Board announced on Tuesday.

The delayed season is scheduled to start on 20 February but the Ghana FA wants to make up for the lost time.

According to the calendar for the 2015/2016 season, the league is scheduled end on 18 September.
