Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is expected to depart for Turkey today and join his team for preseason.

The 31-year-old Ghana international is his nations best player and has scored 51 goals for the Black Stars.

On Tuesday the 18th of July Gyan made history by becoming the first footballer to have given back to his alma Mater after putting up a massive Astro Turf at Accra Academy.

He was excused from training for some few days after signing for Keyserispor two weeks ago.

He will now turn his attention to rediscovering his form after spending the last seven years in Asia.
