Ghana winger Andre Ayew wants to put all discussions about his future with French giants Olympique Marseille on hold until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a summer move to English giants Liverpool with the Reds reportedly readying to table an offer for him.

But the Black Stars influential player insists he wants to focus on Marseille's ambitions to finish in a Champions League spot for next season and not about his future.

"I have my status at the club now so I cannot start thinking about what will happen next year. But what is important is to focus finishing the season well," he told beIN Sports.

He admits hearing rumours linking him with a move away from the nine-time Ligue 1 winners.

"Some say I'm going to go but for my part, I never spoke of a departure. What is important is to finish well this season. Then there will be discussions with the club, including who the next coach of the club will be. All this is done in a timely manner. "

Marseille President Vincent Labrune stated last week that clubs who show interest in the former BBC African Footballer of the Year winner have always undervalued him.
