Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is set for a significant pay rise at Juventus which could see his wages rise to ââ¬1.4m a year.
The 25-year-old is reportedly one of the low earners at the Italian champions since arriving from Udinese two seasons ago.
Asamoahââ¬â¢s immense contribution to the sideââ¬â¢s retention of the Serie-A title has now caught the eye of clubââ¬â¢s top hierarchy who have now decided to reward the Ghana international with a significant pay rise.
The Black Stars midfielderââ¬â¢s contract will however not be renewed apart from the wage increment according to reports in Italy.
The move by Juventus is to fend off suitors from other European clubs who have began circling on the Ghanaian.
Asamoah joined the Bianconeri on a four-year contract worth ââ¬9m and has since been a vital piece of coach Antonio Conteââ¬â¢s team.
