Ghana star Michael Essien IS NOT getting married anytime soon - player's representative

Michael Essien’s proposed wedding on Monday may not be true as representatives of the Real Madrid star have vehemently denied a marriage event was planned.

The internet was agog since Sunday night that Essien’s planned wedding on Monday could not go on because of the rescheduled match between Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

Real Madrid’s game at Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night was postponed due to a presumed act of sabotage that left Vallecas stadium insufficiently lit which led to the postponement of the game to Monday night.

Immediately after match officials postponed the game, one of the famous Real Madrid twitter pages, @RMadridinfo tweeted some wedding information that shocked the world.

RMadridinfo claimed that Monday night’s game clashes with Essien’s wedding forcing the couple to rearrange a new date.

The information from RMadridinfo was even secretly confirmed by some friends close to the player.

But publicists of the midfielder have gone into an overdrive insisting that the Ghana international is not scheduled to marry anyone – not any time soon.

“We represent Michael Essien and the story you have tweeted that he is getting married today is completely untrue,” Sports PR Company in London tweeted back to @RMadridinfo.

“No wedding ever scheduled for today or any other day,” Caroline MCAteer, the head of Sports PR Company added.

Since then @RMadridinfo have pulled the Essien wedding information down.

This has sparked fresh hopes for many girls in Ghana, Spain, England and France who were hoping to tie down the hottest bachelor in the world.

Essien had previous relationships with actress Nadia Buari and Dela Ackumey.
