Former Arsenal Zak Ansah suffered concussion while in action for Newport County in the English League Two on Saturday afternoon.Â
The game ended in a 0-0 stalemate between Newport and Dagenham & Redbridge.
The 21-year-old had come off the bench to replace John-Lewis at the Victoria Road but had to be forced off the pitch in the 71st minute after suffering concussion from a clash with an opponent.
Ansah replaced Lewis and the former Arsenal youngster immediately produced County’s brightest moment with a neat turn and shot that was brilliantly tipped over by Daggers goalkeeper Liam O’Brien.
The 2013 Ghana U20 invitee is on a month-long spell at Newport from Championship side Charlton Athletic and has played three games for the club since arriving in the ending of August.
