Ghana still on top of Group D after Sudan beat Zambia

Ghana remained atop of Group D in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after Sudan nailed Zambia 2-0 at home on Saturday.

Muhannad Tahir opened the scoring in the 49th minute after the first half had ended barren.

Zambia's hopes of pulling even were dashed when Saif Masawi sealed the win for the Falcons of Jediane.

The outcome of the match means Ghana will occupy top spot after whitewashing a listless Lesotho side 7-0 on Friday in Kumasi.

Zambia will host Ghana at the newly-constructed Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on June
