Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan says he goes into every game believing most of the time he is going to score due to his immense qualities.

The 29-year-old is widely considered amongst the best ever in Ghana with his record as the all-time leading scorer for the Black Stars with 48 goals.

Gyan’s scoring record for club and country in recent years has been simply mind boggling.

The Al Ain ace has managed to raise expectations through his high productivity in all games especially at international level where he has not disappointed in recent years.

Gyan says he also has high expectations of himself – thinking he is going to score every time he plays.

“I am very confident in my qualities,” he told Metro TV.

“I can head, I can dribble, I can shoot so whenever we go to play a game, in my head, I am 90 percent sure I can do something.”
