The agent who brokered Asamoah Gyan’s deal from Sunderland to Al Ain Claudio Vagheggi is combining forces with Johan Eriksson – the son of Shanghai SIPG coach Sven-Goran Eriksson – to make a joint presentation to Al Ain on Tuesday on behalf of the Chinese club.

An agreement worth a transfer fee in the region €20m has been struck behind the scenes before Tuesday’s tripartite meeting between Gyan, the agents involved – representing Shanghai SIPG - and Al Ain officials.
