Ghana striker Boakye-Yaidom made poster boy by Spanish side Elche
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is revered by Elche fans.

Spanish Primera Division side Elche have made Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom the ‘official face of the club’ together with two other players.

His image and that of the players have been printed on a huge billboard outside the club’s Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero stadium.

Boakye-Yiadom appears in the club’s advert after a successful first round at the club.

With goalkeeper Manu Herrera and striker Ferran Corominas Telechea with the inscription ‘‘Pasión Franjiverde’’ which translates  ‘‘Love of Elche’’

The highly-rated young striker has become a fan-favourite since arriving in September on loan from Juventus.

He has scored four goals in 17 matches.
