Ghana striker David Accam has hailed international teammate Abdul Majeed Waris after completing his move to French side Lorient.

Waris, 23, signed a five year deal with Les Merlus from Turkish side Trabzonspor on Wednesday.

Lorient completed a massive transfer coup by grabbing the signature of the Ghana international from Stade Rennes.

And Accam, who plays for American Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire, is delighted with the signing of his close pal.

“Congrats to magic waris @warisgh10. More success and clean health in your new team. My next holiday destination!!!,” Accam posted on his official twitter page.

Wari was signed by the French side as a replacement for Jordan Ayew who left to join Aston Villa.

The two players are good friends having graduated from Right to Dream Academy and played together in Sweden.
