Plenty of fresh faces will be looking to make their mark in the Premier League in 2015/16. Ian Hawkey highlights five who could stand out.
Danny Ings
Impressed for struggling Burnley last season and inevitably moved on once they were relegated. If he cements a first-team place quickly at Liverpool, senior England call-ups are likely to follow.
Juanmi
Quick, nimble and hard-working, the diminutive Spaniard, signed from Malaga, is a full Spanish international. Made his senior debut at 16, six years ago, so while young, the Southampton forward is no rookie.
Matej Vydra
For a man of just 23, Vydra has been around: spells in his native Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, the Championship and the Premier League, with West Bromwich Albion. Watford will need his goals to stay up.
Jordan Ayew
Younger brother of Swansea Cityââ¬â¢s Andrew Ayew, son of Ghanaian great Abedi Pele, Ayew added regular goals to his strong, quick all-round game last season at Lorient, from whom Aston Villa have signed him.
Patrick Bamford
The 21-year-old forward, owned by Chelsea, thrived in the Championship last season with Middlesbrough. His loan at Crystal Palace this term should give him a chance to test his Premier League calibre.
