Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo is expected to feature for Sogndal in their pre-season club friendly against Sandefjord on Monday afternoon.

The 23-year-old linked up with his club teammates for close to a week now having returned from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Otoo who played a bit part for the Black Stars in their silver-winning feat in Equatorial Guinea was linked with several moves away from Sogndal following their demotion from the Norwegian top flight.

None of his reported moves however failed to materialize, meaning the former Hearts of Oak captain will remain with the club at least until the summer.

Otoo is currently in Spain with his club as they fine tune preparations for the start of their domestic campaign in the Norwegian second tier league.

The side is billed to face Sandefjorf in a club friendly in Spain of which Mahatma Otoo us expected to play.
