Ghana striker Majeed Waris asks for 'more blessings' for fasting Muslim brothers

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has wished all Muslims well at the start of the holy period of Ramadan.

All Muslims during this period will be observing a 30-day fast as part of the religious requirements of Islam.

Majeed Waris who is joining in the fast as a Muslim has called for blessings for all his ‘Muslim brothers’.

“More blessing to all our Muslim brothers in this holy month,” the Trabzonspor man Tweeted.

Waris is amongst about six Black Stars players who are expected to observe the fast with the likes of Fatau Dauda, Baba Abdul Rahman, Mubarak Wakaso, Rabiu Mohammed and Jordan Ayew all expected to be involved.
