Lack of playing opportunities forced to Black Stars player to discuss his future with the club insisting he wanted regular time on the pitch.

English side Stoke City entered the race to sign the Black Stars player, hoping that a deal could be sealed this week.

But Hoffenheim have told Tagoe that he has a future at the club especially with Demba Ba set to leave the club.

Ba, the Senegal international was the first choice player for the team, which resulted in the limited playing time for the Ghanaian.

Tagoe has told friends that Hoffenheim have assured him of more playing time which means his he will stay, Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

German sides Nuremberg and Cologne are also interested in signing Tagoe.
