Ghana striker Sulley Mohammed has been ruled out of Tuesday’s crucial final Group C match against Ethiopia in Bloemfontein.

The King Faisal youngster was replaced before the half hour mark after failing to return to the pitch following a tackle from behind in the match against Libya.

The 20-year-old needs more days to recover and should be ready to play again if Ghana progress to the last eight.

This means Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu will be without his two attackers with Yahaya Mohammed suspended.

Konadu can now rely on Medeama striker Kennedy Boateng.
