Ghana striker Sulley Mohammed says he is not disappointed by his performance during the CHAN tournament despite his inability to score a goal.

The King Faisal hitman who once led the goalscoring charts in the ongoing Ghana Premier League was unable to score throughout the competition staged in South Africa.

Mohammed however sat out one of the games during the tournament through injury which clearly took its toll on his performance at the CHAN.

But the King Faisal striker insists he is not disappointed in his performance and hopes to return to his best scoring form as the Premier League resumes on Wednesday.

“I went to the competition with the intention of scoring a lot of goals but this didn’t happen,” he said.

“But I am not disappointed in my performance and hopefully I will be able to extend my form in the Premier League.”

Sulley Mohammed arrived with the Ghana team from the CHAN tournament where they won silver on Monday.

It is however unclear if the young striker will feature for King Faisal in their Premier League match against Bechem United on Wednesday.
